Okay, these trends don’t really scare me, but I know that there is no chance that I will be trying them. 🙂
Why would you want to wear stripes and plaid together? Or polka dots and floral? Pattern mixing is okay for home decor, but I don’t see myself wearing it. Actually, I’ve only seen one pattern-mixed outfit that I liked, it was a black and white striped dress with a black and white polka dot cardigan. Most of the time though, I just don’t get it.
Matching colors isn’t my strong point. And I know that the colors don’t actually have to match, they just need to go, but I’m just never sure which ones go together. I have seen some color-blocked shoes that I love, so that’s probably the closest I’ll ever get to this trend.
I actually love the looks of lots of bracelets worn together. But I’m never sure about how to put the bracelets together, it’s just too overwhelming. Plus, I think that I would be really self-conscious if I wore so many bracelets at one time.
I love the looks of some vintage clothes, especially 1940’s dresses, but I honestly would just feel like I was wearing a costume. Vintage just isn’t me.
This just brings back bad flashbacks of 80’s fashion. Besides, isn’t there a rule that if you wore the trend the first time around, you can’t wear it the second time around?
I’m not sure that thrifting can really be considered a trend, but I know that most fashion bloggers talk about it a lot. I have nothing against thrifting and occasionally find things at yard sales, but for the most part I just don’t have the patience for it. To thrift, you have be digger/hunter kind of shopper and I am not. Unless it’s books. 🙂
