Fashion Trends I Love

Skinny Jeans

When skinny jeans first became popular, I was just meh about them. But then I saw them tucked in boots and it was love! This is a look that I think is so cute, and I knew I could pull it off, because the boots would balance out my chunky thighs. ๐Ÿ™‚ I also decided not to care about balancing out the thighs and I regularly wear them with a cute pair of flats.

Colored Denim

Blogs like What Would a Nerd Wear showed me how versatile colored jeans could be, so I knew I had to have a pair. When I put on my red skinny jeans, I just feel so stylish! Plus, like Audrey at Putting Me Together points out having colored bottoms helps to give your wardrobe more remix options.

Bright Colors

Bright colors are just awesome! They make me feel so happy when I put them on, which is exactly how a person should feel when they put on their clothes.

Striped Tops

Striped tops are so cute and classic! I think it’s the classic part that I love. Yes, they’re trendy right now, but they’ll never really go out of style. And I love my grey and black striped shirt with my red skinny jeans!

Especially menswear shoes. I am currently on the lookout for a great pair of oxfords. I just can’t decide between flats or high heels. Maybe I’ll get both! ๐Ÿ˜›

  1. I was the same way about skinny jeans! I have always had muscular legs and never thought I could pull them off. I can’t just buy any pair, but I have a few, and LOVE them with boots! We’ve been having a freak heat wave and while I hate winter with a passion, I’m a little sad that my cozy boots are now in the back of the closet. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I think I’m going to try the color jeans thing this spring/summer. The emails from Piperlime, Nordstrom, Gap and EVERY other store have worn me down.
