The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #116

The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #116

Hello! Welcome to The Ultimate Rabbit Hole! Hosted each week by Sammie, Shari, Jess and me.

I’m loving the warmer Spring weather we’re having her in Tennessee, but I am not loving the allergies that come with it. Pollen is my nemesis! I envy you, my Australian friends! You all are having Autumn now correct?!

Since I can’t go outside, let’s enjoy some great online reads instead!

Carly gives us 5 things her parents should have taught her but didn’t.

Elna gives us 35 of the best place for free feminine and styled stock photos.

Erin writes about how to engage your followers on social media.

We are not their property, they have no claim over us so why do they think that they do? Why do these people think that grabbing someone or touching them or invading their personal space is even acceptable?”

Caitlin tells us six times when using a hyphen is just wrong! Am I the only one who struggles with hyphens?

Ashley shows us how she turned an old bookshelf into a kitchen island. Super cute!

Anne gives us 15 books about endearingly quirky families. Can guess which book from the list is my favorite?

And I loved Lynda Carter’s response when some idiots wanted to claim that Wonder Woman couldn’t be an Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls because she has big boobs!

Now it’s your turn!

Now it’s time for you to share your link list post, or your favorite post from the week if you’re not the link list kind.

Please link only one post, so that it’s fair for everyone. And do try to stop by and visit some of the other bloggers in the link up!

The link up opens every Saturday Morning at The Annoyed Thyroid and Good Food Week, Confident Life, and every Friday evening here at The Geeky Shopaholic. There’s a bit of a time difference since they are in Australia and I’m in the United States. But that’s OK, because no matter which blog you link up on, it shows on all three! As if by magic!

  1. I am very guilty of using hyphens too much – as well as the … (Can’t remember the correct name for that!) But it’s part of my writing style, so I don’t care. Of course, I don’t do this (mostly – and did you notice I use brackets too much as well?) writing for publications or clients. Whoops. It is Autumn here but where I live the colder weather often triggers allergies. My son and I are taking anti-histamines daily at the moment, because otherwise we end up with sinus! Sigh. At least it is cooler though, but warm enough to enjoy the days.

    • Ugh! Yes Autumn allergies are awful too! I write that way too! Though I never thought of it as my writing style before. That makes me feel better about it!

  2. I am a blatant abuser of hyphens and exclamation marks, I’m off to investigate what I’ve been doing wrong! And yay Linda Carter! Her response is pure gold. Hope you get a break from your hayfever soon and have a happy weekend!
