Ten Finished Series I Have YET to Finish

Ten Finished Series I Have YET to Finish

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up from The Broke and the Bookish.

1. The Stormlord Series
I’ve read the first two books in this series, The Last Stormlord, and Stormlord Rising. I even own the last one, Stormlord’s Exile, but for some reason I’m not excited to read it.

2. The First Law Trilogy
I love Joe Abercrombie’s anti-heroes! But I’m always slow at reading his books. I don’t know why. I’m several chapters into the last book of the series, The Last Argument of Kings. Hopefully I will finish it soon.

3. Penryn and the End of Days
I loved the first two books. Penryn is one of my favorite heroines. But I can’t get into the last book. I think it’s because it’s on my Kindle and right now I’m wanting to hold real books.

4. The Merlin Trilogy
I love Mary Stewart’s novels. I love the King Arthur legend. This seemed like a match made in heaven. But I haven’t been able to finish it.

5. The Farseer Trilogy
I’ve read the first two books, Assassin’s Apprentice, and Royal Assassin. They are fascinating but so long. Eventually I will read, Assassin’s Quest. Because I do want to know what happens to Fitz.

6. The Beyonder’s Trilogy
I love the world that Brandon Mull created. And the last book Chasing the Prophecy is on my very long to be read list.

7. The Divergent Series
I devoured the first two books. Tris is amazing! And I love Four. I was spoiled on book three, Allegiant, and I haven’t been able to bring myself to read it yet.

8. The Magicians Trilogy
It’s a combination of Hogwarts and Narnia. For adults. Or rather about adults. I just need to read the last book, The Magician’s Land. Are you seeing a trend here? Apparently I can’t bring myself to finish trilogies. Ever.

9. The Forest of Hands and Teeth
I read the first book, and I liked it. But I’ve never had any desire to read more. Which is weird, because I love Zombies.

10. Frontier Magic Series
It’s magic on the frontier! My geeky heart rejoiced! But I haven’t finished it yet. Two books to go, instead of my usual one.

Have you read any of these series? Were you able to finish them? Got a trilogy to recommend to me that I might actually finish? Let me know in the comments!

What would you like to read next?
